Not sure if a Vespa P125 is considered a modern Vespa.
I watch this guy on youtube who restores things. What I like about him is he is no nonsense, no music, or bs commentary. Just a good work ethic and pays attention to detail.
He hasn't done a scooter restoration ever, when I saw it( just started, I paused it) wanted to share it here and maybe some folks may watch it.
I tend to watch such videos in the middle of the night vicariously living through others who do amazing things.
If this is the wrong place to share this, then please delete it and I shall know it wasn't appropriate for the forum.

All Ps are NSM -- even the ones made in the early 2000s.

Nope. There are quite a few modern Vespas with carbs -- the ET, LX, and GT are all modern Vespas and are carbureted.

The deciding factor for a modern Vespa is generally the use of a CVT transmission, and they will generally be four-stroke, though there are 2T ET2s out there that still qualify as modern.

Any Vespa with a manual geared transmission is automatically not modern. There is an edge case (on paper, anyway) of the Vespa PK Automatica, but this is far more vintage than modern (by a lot) so I'm calling that not modern.

NSM has something to do with how you perceive the word "Twistie"
