Does anybody have rung nut tool?
I have yourban model and i would like to have ring nut toll but in manual is described that i must cut out the existing 020892y tool. It seems to me crazy to buy something worth 120$ and then cut it out.
If there is good soul that have that tool so i can get measures to make one.
Yes if i dissasembly plastics on my mp3 i can take the measures by my self but in my country we have saying "dont dissasembly or repair something that work."
i would like to make 3d model for printing first.
Thank you.

Even at dealerships, not all bother to carry that tool. A hammer and drift work just fine. I cannot find any reference to cutting the tool - perhaps a mis-translation? https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Piaggio/Piaggio%20MP3/Yourban%20300/

Here it is on page 42.
I like to have engineering principle - hammer and drift does not measure torque

Fair enough - and why not cut the tool as described? It'll still work just fine - the excess "meat" isn't necessary.

The bike is in Europe, you are in Europe, Piaggio is in Europe. So what's keeping you from buying the European tool???

If cost is the issue, then just get the Buzetti version. Same European tool without the Piaggio price.

It's called looking for solutions to problems that never existed.

And that's why the Europeans haven't built a reliable car in 25 years.

They're electronically and mechanically totalled after 10 years. I'm especially looking at you, BMW with their unrealistic 20k mile/30K km oil service intervals and "filled for life" transmissions

That won't satisfy the OP, who wishes to reliably set the ring with the 'right' torque for pre-load. Personally I always used to set the ring to zero preload, so no torque wrench required.

Yet we are still suckers to buy Vespas and Piaggios, suppose fun is better than logic.

Thank you for answers.
I was having some home renovation so my garage is inaccessible right now and it will take at least a week or so to be over but after that i will make measurements and design the tool and post it as 3d model so that other can use it as model for building tool.

You forgot to mention running cam timing belts in an oil bath.
