Would it be worthwhile to make a separate forum/section for Piaggio branded scooters? Not individual but just a group one that would encompass MP3, BV, Liberty, Medley, etc.

Worthwhile in what way?

Just gives someone with a Piaggio a section to go to versus just in the General Section. But maybe not.

One could argue that we make this a Piaggio forum, and allow the products of one of Piaggio's 7 companies - VESPA - to post here.

We Piaggio owners don't bother the waters much here....and our subject title usually warns off those who might be offended.

This, exactly. Plus the more 'sections' a forum has, the less of a community it is.

Thirded. Same engines, many of the same parts, same company.

Also, I'm not a fan of over-categorization in forums.

Let's stick with "we" rather than "them and us".

As a Piaggio owner, I don't see any need to split the forums. I can search if there's a problem unique to the Piaggio family.
