First ride was 40 minute drive from the shop to my home. Mix of 2 lane dual carriageway and beautiful winding country lanes.

Second ride was to fill with Super Unleaded ( 97 Ron here ) and get groceries. Decided to enjoy more country lanes.
That lasted only 1.5 miles ........

The Most recent "ride" was the 2.5 miles home pushing the Vespa.

he shop was really helpful considering the time, 19:30 on Friday evening !

Turns out one defective wire prevent start. They called it the "kill switch". Made temporary repair later that night. Have not been out for a proper ride yet.
Ideally want to replace the red bullet connectors and entire length of green wire pictured.

The introduction of this kit is where my writing fault occurred.

The notorious P green wire! Not sure where you're located, but ScooterWest does a green wire kit: https://www.scooterwest.com/green-kill-switch-wiring-kit-for-p200e-vsx.html

Quick google maps search gets us England for their location, I think. It's the only option for Ingleton as a place rather than a road.

Did I hear a fellow Brit has a problem? Depending how close to me you are I could assist

There are a couple of Ingleton in the UK. Much like there are a couple of Leeds
