I just had my Vespa serviced since it has gone 9000 km and my left break lever is super stiff, but gives way after using a lot of force!

Now I´m told the servo needs to be changed (probably?) and just the part is over CHF 1000.-

I have a new time slot for repari, but the service changed the break fluid and it looked just fine, but the problem still occur.

I hope VESPA takes some responsability if this is a known problem?!

Is this the front brake (on the right) or the rear brake (on the left)? Your post is ambiguous.

OK - but you still think that's the front brake?

I appreciate your attempt to clarify jimc, but they'll still have their problem.

So the back break then, still the problem with the stiff left lever. It improved after break fluid change.

So Now I removed the FUSE (25) for the ABS and it works as it should. I replaced the fuse and then the problem is back again.
It starts after driving away and then gives way when I fight the lever, but then returns after giving gas again.

If I keep the lever a bit, then I manage to maintain the normal feeling.

Tomorrow I´m scheduled for repair =((.. because I assume they would check the fuses at the vehicle test which I believe is comming up this year.
