I'm glad to hear you find the 310 to be more relaxed on the highway, because I plan on doing a decent amount of touring. I hope you're enjoying the heck out of your GTV! Have you put a lot of miles on it? Do you have any trouble finding accessories for it?

Yeah, I've realized that expensive and cheap are relative, depending on what country you're in. It seems in Canada that things are relatively cheaper, due to proximity to the US, a decent exchange, and lower tariffs. But I'm just guessing. I was surprised to hear that my bike is coming from the US. I didn't realize that the US was a hub through which Canadian Vespas needed to pass through.

Whoa, that price tag takes my breath away. If it cost that much in Canada, I probably would have gone used. But I guess there is a ton of stuff that costs more in Australia than Canada. I guess I should be grateful for the price of my Vespa!

Is the CAD 11,000 the on-the-road price? Or is it like the USA, where you never know how much you'll actually pay until you get to the till.

I have kept it stock as its the Oficine 8 edition. I may fit a sports rack but purely for looks as everything I need to carry goes in the pet carrier. It was new in mid Oct 25 and currently just over 1100 miles. It had little or no use in Dec-Feb ( UK wettest & salty months).

Yes, that is the "here is my money order" price. It includes FREIGHT, PDI, DOCUMENTATION FEE & TIRE LEVY, and all taxes for British Columbia, including 7 percent provincial sales tax and 5 percent goods and services tax. The taxes alone are $1073 dollars.
