I have a 2009 Scarabeo 200cc with only 3500 miles on it. I listed it here in Seattle for $2500 without success. I guess it seems to me that the scooter market here had collapsed with low mileage 500cc scooters listed for less. Has the used scooter market dried up?

Wow, I'd take a big swing at a Scarabeo 500 with moderate milage in that price range!! Transport costs may kill me, though.

I think the '09 Scarabeo 200 is Piaggio-powered?

They were about $2700 new, so that price point might be a bit on the high side. I have seen there for anywhere between $800 (non-op) and $1500, even in great condition.

Unfortunately, they don't have the cachet or resale of a Vespa, though they are a great scooter if one takes the time to get to know one.
