Kia ora Vespites.
It's been a while for sure. I've been without a bike/scooter for close to five years but as of last week I am back on two wheels.

I hope I can be forgiven for crossing the Alps from Pontedera to Munich but needs must. I have been trying to get my hands on a Vespa Elettrica for a couple of years, but it seems Piaggio have no plans to bring them to Hobbiton.

So I was looking for my next ride, something for a short commute through urban streets and a little open road riding and loads of fun. My eyes were drawn to what can only be described as an attention seeking German.

I think the pictures speak for themselves. As for me, I can't wipe the smile off my face.
It's nice to see some familiar names still rocking the MV forum. I hope to catch up with a few of you online and contribute where I can.

Welcome back!

The CE-02 is a fair sight more handsome than it's scooter sibling.

Hey Mate, nice to catch up again.
We moved from Jafaland to the central NI and day rides just weren't the same. Leave the city limits and we were on SH1 or SH2 with trucks, trucks and more trucks. Mrs Boulty wasn't enjoying it anymore so the Guzzi sat in the garage, de registered. Plus I didn't have a commute anymore...800 metre walk to work for the last 5 years.
Sold the Guzzi to a young fella in the Naki...then not long after his house bus project went up in flames (it was in Stuff)...turns out the Guzzi survived.

Long story short...been hanging out to get back on two wheels and I now have a short commute. Perfect for an electric m/c

I did not know that actual location was signposted.
Is that your own ride/photo?

Yes, travelling East to West sort of on this route, which I repeated last year the other way.
