How can you spot easily production year of a GTS300 from 2020 - 2021 - 2022?

model year can sometime be other then registration year, since some Scooters not sold the year a dealer got it on stock, but sold year after.

I know there probably is some changes between markets like US, Europe, Scandinavia

Where are you from? Europe?

Do you have the VIN?

Every Vespa destined for Europe has a sticker with a QR code on the inside of the bodywork under the helmet compartment, which gives the VIN and the production date. The production date can also be found on the CoC (top right).

GTS 310 = Production starting Sep. 2024 (Euro 5+ for EU)
GTS 300 MY23 with Keyless and new Suspension = Production starting Sep. 2022 (Euro 5 for EU)
GTS 300 MY21 with Euro 5 for EU = Production starting in Sep./Oct. 2020 (new rims, new decals on SuperSport)
GTS 300 with new HPE Engine (Euro 4 for EU) with new long cascade = Production starting in Late 2019

Thanks for reaching out with an explanation here.
I'm from Norway
No I doesn't have vin, but I will be buying a used GTS300 later this summer, autumn and want to have possible to know what year of production of those I will be looking at, because I know there is lot of scooters staying over from one year to another or also two before they sold.
If you have the VIN is it some place to look it up to get right production year or is there a nummer inside the VIN telling this?

VIN will give you a range of 2-3 years. In Europe there is no year coded in the VIN.

For some (not all) vehicles may this link work: https://www.vespa.com/en_EN/recall-campaign/

100% exact is the date on CoC and on the QR-Code
