Can I use API GL5 oil in my MP3 400LT (2010)

I can only buy 80W90 GL5 at my local shop.

Google says in most cases GL5 can be used, but GL5 can cause problems with soft materials (brass or copper).

Can I use it in my MP3 transmission?

Why buy the wrong product at a local shop when you can shop the whole planet?

Don't limit yourself by supporting a out of date business model (brick & mortar stores)

Repsol, Motul and Liqui Moly make the correct GL4 oil for the MP3

Either one, GL4 is GL4, for this application but I'd pick gearbox

Google is well out of date. GL5 has been fine with brass and copper for the last humpty-dumpty years. So beware of immortal FUD.
