Ok. I'm confused by this question. Can you provide more detail or explanation of what you are asking about? Or maybe it is just me?

Auto cancellation is available on some big m/c but I have not seen it on a Vespa.
Some here have added an audible accessory as a safety measure to prevent riding on with your indicator flashing. I'm guessing this is the root of your question?? |

Two diodes and a buzzer for less than $10 and you're all set. Or spend a lot more on a kit that doesn't quite do the same thing...

OK - back to the diodes:
You need to connect the cathodes of the diodes (the ends with the stripes) together and also to the + side of the buzzer (though some buzzers may not worry about polarity). The anodes of the diodes (the non-stripey ends) each need to be connected to an indicator wire. One is pink, the other is white/blue. The - end of the buzzer needs to be grounded. Although this means a bit of extra work, I recommend grounding it via the + side of the brake light bulbs (the output of the brake light switches IYCWIM). This has several advantages: 1. The buzzer stops buzzing when you have either brake light on, saving your sanity at long-winded traffic lights. 2. If you have a brake lever pulled, but the buzzer doesn't stop, then you know your brake light switch has failed, and your brake lights aren't working - not a very safe way to travel. 3. If you have a brake lever pulled, and the buzzer doesn't sound at all, then you know your brake lights have blown - again, not a very safe way to travel. |

Thing is, you rarely hear any beeping or buzzing - you signal (OK, a beep or two), brake as you approach the turn or lights (no beep), you cancel as you make the turn (no beep) or hear the beep to remind you to turn the bloody things off! It very quickly becomes an instinctive muscle memory. |

I installed this in my Scarabeo and really like it. Someday maybe I'll find a slightly less plaintive beeper but it isn't high on my priority list.
The most elegant system though is the simple clicker on my Buddy 50. It doesn't seem to be replicable on the Vespa. |

On which note - why do most Americans only turn on their blinkers when they start to turn (if at all!)? Also bloody annoying at traffic lights. |

I guess I should have said, it isn't replicable on MY Vespa. The carbed LX/S 150 models' flasher relays are integrated into the CDI. And there doesn't seem to be a device as simple as a beeper that you can install that just makes a click sound.
LX 150 turn signals out..wheres the relay? Please |
