I'm not sure where to start as after washing and hosing down my scoot I no longer have a spark. I'm presuming I got water over the wiring as I'd just finished a rebuild so some of the wiring wasn't covered properly. It's a sip vape dc kit and I hope I haven't killed anything. 5 hours later and still no spark. Has anyone got any suggestions please.

Man, you got to put up some photos of your work- specially, the wiring.

Might want to put dielectric grease on all the electrical connections, and check the ground of the regulator.

And pictures

Spark can be tough to see.
How are you testing
Try in the dark. If it's arcing somewhere - it will also show up.
Plug needs to be grounded of course - so method can affect ability to see if it's really not sparking.

You need to take the brown wire and attach it to the coil.

Check where the wire is crimped to the terminal (hidden inside the plastic). I've had two vape ignition wires break on me with sharp bends.

You can also try to disconnect green wire(killswitch) from CDI.

GickSpeed, you are star. I was at my witsend wondering how to fix this. As you probably realise, I know absolutely nothing about electrics and acquired this scoot with the sip vape already installed. Thanks again my man.

Correct. You already said it, so I gave you a thumbs up and didn't repeat it. I threw out an additional tidbit that I bet he hasn't heard yet.

I run a second ground wire from the coil to the case. Just a bit extra ground insurance since the P/PX coil brackets have rubber vibration insulators on it. So the way i wire the Vape up is the brown wire to the coil, then a second brown wire from the coil to the case.
