Modern Vespa

Hello.

I have a GTS 150 Super (in Australia) and have seat issue.

To sit comfortably for my legs, I have to sit back quite a bit on the seat however I end up sitting on the hump part which is really uncomfortable.

Is it possible to shave the hump down or remove it?

Upholstery shop can do it.

You can swap in a GT125/GT200 seat, which is basically flat, albeit with a strap in the middle. That can be removed of course.

I am not sure that the GT seat will fit on a 23 GTS. For one thing it will leave a gap at the rear of the seat where the ducktail would sit.

Are you handy at all? I put my BV250 through a humpectomy. Before it felt like wearing a pair of vinyl Speedos that were 2 sizes too small. Just as important, I took off almost 2 inches at the front of the seat.

I went whole hog on this: Beverly seat reshape - Oh my steaming arse. On my GT200, I took the horn down at the front, smoothed out the hump, and just re-stapled the stock cover.

Earlier days I notised my Kymco Like had too thin seat, so I filled some stuff, over the old. Only problem that I could not find vinyl thin enough to be easy to strech over.
