Modern Vespa

Picked this up today for a tenner. It's a Vespa branded phone holder. Now I'm not for a moment going to pretend it's actually made under licence from Vespa, but the cool logo is a bonus.

The real nice thing about this is it's an easy fit to a BV350.

I've replaced the screen on my BV350, so it bolts straight into the now unused bolt hole. If you run the stock screen, I suspect with a bit of lateral thinking it won't be too hard to still add this to the bolt holder.

It's replaced the old phone holder that also attached to the screen bolt, albeit with the use of a dummy bar-mount. So the new one is neater in that regard. But, it also wins on a couple of other fronts; first, there is a locking nut for the main clamp, so there is less chance of it rattling loose in use. And also it rotates, which a nice sprung loaded mechanism.

No idea where the seller I got it from originally got it, most likely Amazon. No idea what the new cost is, but if you want to mount a phone, it's well worth a look.

I would love to get one of those, but I broke the little that would hold it in place with my last phone holder. That little screw was not made to hold much.
