Hello all,
I was searching that other forum for any info, reviews or opinions on sidestands for the ET4 but didn't turn up much. Anyone here have any experience or advice?

Purchased a side stand for my ET4 years ago. Used it for about 2 years and removed it.

The bike was not 100% stable on the side stand 90% of the time I would park it, so I would end up just using my center stand.

Couple that with the fact I don't like the looks of the side stand on the bike, I removed it.

Here is the side stand I purchased. A good quality product, just did not work for me.

Looks like the same side stand is $11 cheaper at scooterpartsco.com. I might order one for my LX 50. I like putting the side stand down before I get off my bike to prevent an accidental fall. Then I engage the center stand after I get off the bike. It's just always been a habit of mine to do that. I once saw a biker dump his bike because his foot slipped as he was getting off the bike. A side stand already down would have stopped the bike from falling on him.
