So I was comfortably sitting at a stop light today with my feet up, taking in the sights when all of a sudden I heard th BEEP BEEP I put my feet down just tin time cuz the tilt lock disengaged. It now does it all the time off and on and i cant trust it. It does however stay locked when the scoot is not running and in the garage. Anyone had this issue or know what this is all about. Thanks!

Maybe a fault in the switch for unlocking the tiltlock or its wiring?

Does it stay locked when the scooter is not running but turned on and you're sitting on it?
How bout just running, not riding?
Did you notice if the lock warning light came on?
There is a driver presence sensor in the seat that can disable the locking that I was wondering about.

That could be the connection near the sensor under the seat, of course that depends on the age of your scooter, if older age then it is possible from wear and tear, it might be a simply the connection is loose, so if you push it in, it will fix it, or needs new wiring,
