Modern Vespa

I have chance to buy a BV500 engine and all the parts and spaghetti that's needed to shoe horn it in a GT200 and I'm looking for anybody's input on the subject
I know it's a big job but how big ?

I suspect you may struggle with the chassis as Arnoh had to move mounting points.

The 500 engine swing is quite a bit longer than the original one.

So it will not fit physically under the chassis without structurally changing the body.

And you need to either fabricate or marry the 500 engine motor mount the original one.

There are many obstacles. But doable. How well equipped is your workshop? You have to be able to weld for that project.

Someone in Germany did it and called it Vespa la Mutata 500
