Modern Vespa

I have Malossi upgear kit part# 67-5235 with 24/63 straight tooth gears for a PX style clutch. I have a banded Cosa clutch I want to use. I want to buy just the straight cut clutch gear cog to make it work without buying an entire complete new gear kit.
DRT makes a 24t straight cut Cosa gear but only lists it for use with a 62t primary.
Will this work with the Malossi 63t primary?
On the SIP Malossi description it lists DRT to make the conversion.

Have you opened the box for the kit you have? It has a clutch cog in it. If you say it has the PX style cog, then that's all you need for your Cosa clutch

The kit is for the P series clutch, I want to upgrade to the corsa clutch. I just need the straight tooth cog.

I have a straight cut DRT 24 tooth cosa clutch cog fitted with a DRT 62T primary. I didn't try to attempt to fit to a 23 tooth primary. If the instructions says "no", then i probably wouldn't attempt it.

Also keep in mind that the DRT 62T primary uses a smaller diameter than normal primary repair kit, so make sure to buy that specific kit if you do decide to go with a 62T primary.
