This bike. Got the carburettor working properly and the engine is running well. Took it down a flat piece of road and it felt wobbly to me. Wheels appear to be in a line
1. Is there a way to tell if the fork is bent without totally dismantling it?
2. Should I be looking at the rear swing arm to see if its loose?

any other suggestions?
TIA

Rear tyre should have a mm or two of play.
Is there reason to suspect a bent fork?

Only that it seems to need constant steering corrections. The frame appears ok- used a set square and compared.

The steering bearings might be bad/too tight or the grease in them turned into glue.

I had dried grease in my BV500 steering and you really get conscious about how much you move the handlebars to balance and stay upright when you have to fight the friction. This after not using the bike for half a year.

Rear swingarm dry and rusty needle bearings are more common than steering bearing failure on these - so test for that first!
