I don't know if "tab" is the right word, I mean the plastic hooks on the edge of the panel that slide into slots in the panel next to it when you mount the panel on the bike.

A lot of the tabs on my sidepanels are missing. The panels are mounted solid enough to ride the bike, but the panels do not align properly and it is anoying me. Is there an easy and lasting solution to fix this? (besides buying new panels )

I was thinking something like 3D-printing new tabs and some how glue them on the panel. But I am not sure if it will hold and what type of glue to use.

Does anyone has succesfully repaired this before?

I've had to repair a few on the 2007 MP3. But luckily for me, I've always had the original plastic tabs (not lost), but I don't see any problem printing in 3D new ones.

I've used a good slow-curing epoxy glue that's specifically for plastics, and it's worked.
