For reference I bought a 2016 Sprint 50cc with less than 600 miles on the odometer. It's essentially dust free. I changed the oil and rear gear oil and have ridden about a hundred miles.

Last night I took it for a test ride along a fairly uneven section of brick road and it feels very solid, all in all. However, I've noticed a few times that the front suspension, if there's a sharp drop in front of the wheel, seems to bottom out at full extension. With a decided thunk.

Does anyone have any experience with upgrading the front shock with something better? I see several damped shocks out there. Is the improvement worth the cost?
