Just bought a Bgm pro clutch and the cover but now my tire is rubbing hard on the cover. i even had to switch to my spare that have a thinner sized wheel even through its is 10x3.5. bgm claims that it should clear like original but it doesnt, not even close..

what is the solution to this? please help!

Rims aren't symetrical. Do you have the correct side of the wheel facing the clutch side?

Yes i have the shallow side against the spare, and valvestem against the spare wheel

When you removed the OLD cover did you also remove the O-RING?

My own personal experience of tyres rubbing against the clutch cover was caused by the following.

"Race profile" tyre, it was wider than a typical road tyre combined with an aftermarket rear hub. It was machined slightly differently AND I hadn't seated the clutch cover fully home.

Admittedly this was about 20 years ago - but I felt it best to share my experience so you can at least tick things off the debug list
