I'm having a blast with my px125, it's super great fun and I'm really happy with it. But I feel uncomfortable with how it sounds and vibrations when I'm doing 45+mph. I am a heavy rider around 100kg, is it unhealthy for my engine to go max rpms in 4th gear? Should I install an engine kit to reduce the possibility of me blowing it up?
(I also have a chrome Sip exhaust.)

This is my first time owning a Vespa and
having an engine bigger than 50cc so I'm not too sure. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Additional info: my license restricts my engine size to 125cc so I'd prefer modifications that don't implicate engine size if possible. Thanks, Ellis

As long as there's nothing wrong with it, you can ride it as fast as it will go. It will do maximum rpm all day long, which isn't actually that much rpm when compared top what a higher performance kit bolted on your engine could do.

SIP make this kit exactly for your situation (so popular it's sold out). Bolt it on, up jet and ride legally but much faster.
