I finally installed my Koso temp gauge on my P and found out that I ordered one that only goes up to 245°F. That's after I spent a few hours finding the perfect wire routing and mount placement. Is there a less expensive option that will work with the Koso probe and connector?

I see Koso has a cylinder head temperature gauge, but it's over $100.

I bought this a year ago, but I can't remember where I purchased it. So returning isn't an option.

Sorry. Try this one? Should be just over $20US. Plus tariffs!

I also bought a Koso CHT that sat in the box until recently, when I also learned it was for a water cooled engine.

The head end will not work with an air cooled CHT sensor. I know because I had one on hand and tried.

Do you think the threaded sensor that is included with the water cooled kit will work with the higher temp gauge?
I would rather use the sensor that took me a couple hours of installation to get it right

I doubt it since a high temp sensor didn't work with the new gauge. I will check to be sure. It may take me a few days to get to it, though, since there will be some effort required to wire things up.
