I recently came across a posting discussing the importance of venting the fuel cap. Which sent me off to check mine.

I have a restored 65 VBB with a vent hole that was plugged during the restoration.

Does the vent hole go straight through the cap or is hole to the outside offset from the one in the bottom of the cap?

Are both holes about 1/8 inch?

Thanks
