Hello there,
Since I recently bought a Vespa Elettrica, I had been looking for passenger foot pegs to make rides more comfortable for my better half, but I also wanted to keep the crash bars without it looking awful.
The only video I found showing foot pegs with crash bars was from Scooterwest (about 4 years old). According to my dealer (and actually Scooterwest in their video), the only compatible and sturdy option seemed to be the Buzzetti foot pegs for Vespa.
I had seen them installed on a Primavera 50, but honestly, I didn't like the look, they just didn't blend well with the scooter's chassis, in my opinion.
Eventually, I took a chance on some Chinese-made foot pegs from eBay. I specifically looked for a design that would allow me to secure the crash bar between the base and the peg without major modifications. Most of them were only advertised as compatible with Vespa 125/150 models, but I gave it a shot with one in particular.
I was even able to reuse the original bolts, which was a nice bonus.
The quality probably isn't on par with Buzzetti's, but at first glance, the foot pegs feel solid, I stood on them without any issues (I'm 220 lbs).
So here are a few photos of my setup. Nothing groundbreaking, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully this helps other Elettrica/Primevera 50 owners looking for a similar solution!
