Hi,
Ran this thing last year after cleaning up carb and replacing stop cock and fuel /vac lines. Always fired right up.
It sat in the garage for a year and a half with a drained tank.
Went out today after charging the battery.
It turns over nicely, no start.
Checked plug wire, no spark.
Checked at coil, no spark.
Would anyone have test values for the coil?

Thanks

(Or brilliant other things it may be?…..I figured I would test back from the coil)

Thanks.

I guess my next question is….If I get a new cdi/coil, mine has a 2 conductor plug….a few that I have seen are 4 conductor.
It is a Piaggio 640911.
Having a hard time finding it.

Ah - yours is the four valve version.

Manuals here:

Perhaps this coil? https://scooterpartsco.com/210-vespa-c-801_802/ignition-coil-for-vespa-piaggio-with-efi-828817-p-402.html

Piaggio are dreadful at part numbering - sometimes the same part has seven or eight different part numbers!

Hey thanks for that!

I noticed it is for EFI…..mine is carbureted, but that coil looks like mine for sure.

Again, the same parts are often used over many models, whether EFI or carb'd.
