Has anyone upgraded to the Malossi 210cc kit? Is it worth it for the extra 10ccs? Also will there be a 250 or 275 kit coming with the introduction of the GTS? Thanks in advance for info.

i know of three 210cc kits installed in the states
Josh from Scoot! mag
ScooterBobby from Vespa SB
myself

& Big Jim @ WetSpeed should be installing his soon

ScooterBobby is running the best & he is using the stock jetting in the euro carb

Josh & i were jetted with a 105 main jet & bgging out big time (stock GT's could out run us)
im down to a 100 main jet & things are better but not like bobbys

As far as kits for the GTS .....
Malossi makes a 290 kit for that 250 master motor but i dont know how you go about re mapping the fuel injection

Not sure if the Malossi 290 will fit - it fitted the older 250 in the X9, which was a Honda engine... the new X9 & the GTS have the QUASER motor (the MASTER is the 500...)

Not sure if the 250's crank case is the same as the the 200, but the 250 crank is a longer stroke than the 200. The barrel and piston are the same size for both. If the crank case is the same, you could get a 250 crankshaft and the 290 barrel and piston, and cobble up a 290 motor.

man! M@'s GT can definitely keep up though! Quick as lighting. Every time he'd start off I'd hear the "Speed Racer" theme in my head...
