Modern Vespa

I've decided to finally build my PK engine into something that can keep up with California traffic. Bad part is that my front brakes are very bad. Shoes are fine but the hub must be warped or something. I get a pulsation that gets worse the hotter the brakes get. One time on a long down hill, it was pulsing so bad that it killed the speedo.

Since I have the later PK fork, what's a good upgrade path? There's so many options, from cheap to ridiculous.

Hub and carrier from a Stella with a remote master cylinder.

Don't forget to get the shock adaptor also... its only a few dollars but makes sure that all things line up

I see from your profile that your on a different continent to myself, so I can't recommend a place to buy the components to do the conversion locally. Fitting a disc setup is as simple as removing the existing components and placing the new hub and carrier to the fork.

Someone more local to you on the forum may comment with a decent local supplier.

Had you been in the UK I could have provided you with a disc setup.

Im quire happy to do that, bit you will be pocket emptied on import duties sir and postage.

I'm having a 25kg box coming from egig today or tomorrow haha. They can't be that bad compared to that!!!

FYI, you can't mix n' match the caliper carriers and the hubs between LML and Grimeca.
