I was out in a remote area in Minnesota when my fuel gauge fell to one bar and flashing. I admit I hadn't read the manual closely. I was very nervous about being stranded on a remote road. Nearest gas was 20+ miles. It took the fun out of the ride back. When I refueled it only took 1.6 gallons. NOW I know. The reserve is approx. .5 gallons or around 40 miles. Nice info to know. Overall a nice day riding. Just an fyi.

Yep I figure I have at least 30 miles when fuel like comes on. I do however travel with a 1 liter fuel bottle strapped underneath rear rack

Sounds about right, 40 miles or so left. Sounds like you pulled a Kramer "Seinfield". Did a demo drive and kept driving. past the red gas light on.

Been in that situation and now fill to the brim virtually whenever I see a gas / petrol station.

The most I've put in after running extremely low is 8.36 litres. Can't ''ve been much left in the tank 🤣
