Still wake up in the middle of the night some times, bathing in sweat, after selling my GTS in the beginning of this year.
Bought that bike in 2012 with just under 4000km's in the clock, sold it with little over 35.000km's.

Thought I was done with it, due to a small fire in the engine Bay after refueling it out of a bottle Facepalm emoticon Whilst doing so I dropped some fuel that landed on the hot exhaust, whoosh, flames, powder extinguisher.
Long story short, after that it would cut out after a few minutes riding, only to restart after a few hours cooling down.
Trouble shooting that did my head in so I listed it . Only to find the problem a few weeks later, just before selling it. But my mind was set on selling it anyway, so pushed through and found a buyer soon after that.

Anyways, had regrets the minute I took the money from said buyer, but was to stubborn to accept those regrets.
I rode my Vespa all round Europe, over and through the Alpes on numerous occasions, just loved the thing.

Now, like 8 months later I found my self looking at the classifieds for over the last 2 months now.
Only I just couldn't get my head around the asking price on the used Vespa.
So upping my budget, biting the bullet, I now finally found the one. I think, I guess. Do I??
Only doubts about the Supertech bit of the bike, dont know if I can get used to that dash.

If I survive this night, without terrible nightmares, I'm going to the shop tomorrow after a few work meetings, to sign the deal.

They sold this unit new end of 2022, being 2023 model (is that a thing??). Had it in for all the maintenance up until the owner traded it in for a new one.
So history know, I know the shop, and owner. It's my go to Piaggio shop back from when I was 16 riding mopets, up until now being 49, I think I can safely say I trust this guy and his shop.

Okay talking way to much, just being a bit over excited Laughing emoticon Facepalm emoticon

Double post,

Just bought it, delivery this Friday
New rollers, belt, battery, rear tire, and they going to add a original clear Vespa low flyscreen.
Thing has just over 17.000km's on the clock, ben used for home-work riding, 80km's round trip.
So no short rides with a cold engine.

Can't wait, to take delivery, and start modding.

Nice story.

My older Super had red called Rosso Dragon, but:
It is called Rosso coraggiso R7 (894) since Facelift in October 2022 (MY23).
And before that it was called Rosso Passione R7 (894)…
So your "vintage red" could be as right

Apart from the hell thats called MIA connect its a great little scoot.

Way more comfortable than my old 2006 250 GTS. Although that one felt at least as fast.
