Bought that bike in 2012 with just under 4000km's in the clock, sold it with little over 35.000km's.
Thought I was done with it, due to a small fire in the engine Bay after refueling it out of a bottle
Long story short, after that it would cut out after a few minutes riding, only to restart after a few hours cooling down.
Trouble shooting that did my head in so I listed it . Only to find the problem a few weeks later, just before selling it. But my mind was set on selling it anyway, so pushed through and found a buyer soon after that.
Anyways, had regrets the minute I took the money from said buyer, but was to stubborn to accept those regrets.
I rode my Vespa all round Europe, over and through the Alpes on numerous occasions, just loved the thing.
Now, like 8 months later I found my self looking at the classifieds for over the last 2 months now.
Only I just couldn't get my head around the asking price on the used Vespa.
So upping my budget, biting the bullet, I now finally found the one. I think, I guess. Do I??
Only doubts about the Supertech bit of the bike, dont know if I can get used to that dash.
If I survive this night, without terrible nightmares, I'm going to the shop tomorrow after a few work meetings, to sign the deal.
They sold this unit new end of 2022, being 2023 model (is that a thing??). Had it in for all the maintenance up until the owner traded it in for a new one.
So history know, I know the shop, and owner. It's my go to Piaggio shop back from when I was 16 riding mopets, up until now being 49, I think I can safely say I trust this guy and his shop.
Okay talking way to much, just being a bit over excited
