Hey All,
Just wanted to post a quick update since I've been MIA in this forum for a while.
Two years ago, I finished my PX VR One build. Originally I planned for a BGM head, but then the incorrect one was shipped and I couldn't get ahold of SC for a replacement so I pivoted to the Polini 177 kit. Rode it for an about a year, and it was really enjoyable, albeit a but of an overkill build for the cylinder. Thanks to all of you for the help as it was key.
Turn to last year and my buddy decided he wanted to try and keep up with me while I rode my 900 husky, after I warned him the Vespa could go way faster than he could brake. Well, he dumped it. Destroyed the left side. Sat in the garage for a year as we were in the process of moving and I didn't want to put time into figuring out what to do.
Well, the last month I've been back at it again.
Ordered full forged carbon rear panels, front fender, and horn cover (that didn't fit). I know it's mismatched colors wise, but the carbon looks pretty rad imo. Thinking about vinyl wrapping the thing to have less contrast.
Pulled the old cylinder, and put on the correct BGM kit that was finally sent to me from scooter center 3 years later. Ported it, and also installed a polini exhaust that I'm not quite sure of.
I have a new sip speedo coming as well as it was broken in the crash. Also, bought a wave seat because the stock one looks funky with all these fancy carbon buts. But anyways, here are some photos of it so far!
If anyone is up in the northeast and wants to go for a ride I'm new to the area and would love to meet vespa folks.
