Can anyone tell me if this is too much pressure on this wire harness? I don't like it and wondering if this is normal.

I don't see any other way to mount it to the bracket.

That's pretty much what the one I just put on looks like. The harness is wedged in behind the stator and doesn't move when everything is buttoned down. I think you'll be fine.

You can cut that cable tie to allow the wires to wiggle into position that suits you better, then put a new one on.
