Can anyone tell me how the front brake light switch works with the grimeca kit on early US import P.... or does it? I was going to buy another insane expensive brake switch but I wanted to find out first.

Photo of your master cylinder helps.
If you have the threaded hole for the switch, about 10£ uk money... take a feed from your rear brake pedal

Ive done similar and just extended the wire that feeds the online switch to the grimeca style switch that threads into the caliper...

Or if you are going semi hydraulic, no need to change anything... but fully hydraulic is way better

Ah ok thanks. So I use the inline front brake switch with the semi hydraulic setup?

Do either of you have a photo of the front brake switch installed? I also have Grimeca front brake kit installed and I just realized that there is a brake switch just hanging out under my headset cover thanks to this thread.

It looks like a little rocket.

Yep, that is what I saw floating around under there. How does it install/work?

If you have the correct cable, it would be directly under a short outer cable piece right before it attaches to the brake lever. I don't have mine set up to show.

You could also get a banjo switch (banjo bolt with the switch in it) if you have even semi-hydraulic. Get a switch off Amazon for like $6.

Can you show an example? That would be helpful for sure when I buy the setup!

It's like this:

I'm using it to add front brake light support on my Riverside (just wire it in parallel to the rear brake switch). I'll probably do the same thing on the Oi!, too, at some point.

Make sure you know if you need the 1.0 or 1.25 thread pitch, it just order both and return one.
