Hello everyone,

My GS150 VS4 has a Ignition Lock SIEM with 10 connections. The current key positions are as follows:
Position 0: No ignition.
Position 1: Horn and brake light.
Position 2: Horn, brake light, headlight, running light, speedo light and taillight.
Position 3: Same as position 1.

I would love to rewire it to be able to accomplish the following:
Position 1: Horn and brake light.
Position 2: Horn, brake light and headlight.
Position 3: Horn, brake light, headlight, running light, speedo light and taillight.

I have a friend that has his setup very similar to what I want, I am sure this can be customized to personal preference.

Loom wires and handlebar wires for horn/headlight switches are original.

Current configuration is as follows:
White from handlebar harness is connected to 9 on SIEM.
Pink from handlebar harness is connected to 7 on SIEM.
Purple from handlebar harness is connected to headlight.
Brown from handlebar harness is connected to headlight.
Pink from loom connected to 7 on SIEM (same one where the pink handler harness wire is connected to)
One thick red wire which combines the 2 reds and green from loom is connected to 5 on SIEM.
Black wire from loom is connected to 10 on SIEM.
Yellow wire from loom is connected to 8 on SIEM.
Blue wire for running light is connected to 3 on SIEM.
Black wire from speedo light is connected to 1 on SIEM.

SIP ignition manual found online doesn't mention anything about wiring loom to the SIEM at all.

If at least I can get schematics of the SIEM ignition switch that would help tremendously as it will take me time to figure out how it works using an ohmmeter.

Attached are photos of my wiring.

Please advise and thank you in advance.

The original switch will not allow you to ground the ignition, that is why SIP does not mention it.

Anyone has any information on how this ignition switch works? Otherwise I would have to remove it and use my ohmmeter to check what is does on each key position which it is time consuming. Google shares no results on it, so not sure if instructions are provided when buying the ignition switch or not.

Thank you.

Are you referring to the original SIEM or the after market SIP?

That works same as original, which will not work with a VAPE ignition. you very well could open it up and there should be a set of beings inside, be careful. you can document how it works and go form there.

Sure, will do that and post my results here. They might be helpful to others. Thanks.
