Hi im thinking about doing a full rebuild on a project et4 im building.
Has anyone fitted the mallosi 190 kit & what other mods did you do? IE carb, head etc.
Also I saw a post ages ago that you could fit the LX forks thus allowing for 10" front wheel.
Has anyone cut down the et4 frame also.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You don't need to do anything to the carb. There's not much you can do to the head.

A variator and rear gears will do more to take advantage of the increased power than about anything else.

When I did this upgrade on my Piaggio Fly 150 (same Leader motor), I changed the Idle jet from a 35 to a 38. this helps to feed a bit more fuel to smooth out idle and helps with off-idle early acceleration. I did not change the main jet, but you probably could.

I also installed a polini upgear kit in the secondary gears. This will help take advantage of the increase in power for higher top speed. Malossi Transmission parts will also help.

I don't have any insight on your fork question.

190 kit is fine, bit more power everywhere in rev range, but a lot of $$$. Can go up a size or two on the main jet on the factory Keihin, but any more and you need an adjustable needle.

I threw everything at my 150, 190 kit, cam, carb, pipe, ecu, gearing. Biggest bang for the buck was gutting the airbox and swapping to a Mikuni carb. Factory box is really restrictive, but can't mod it and retain factory carb. Mikuni was about $100, cable maybe another $50.
