My Medley 150, after only 5000KMs, has a clunk as I accelerate from a stop. There is no noticeable lag in acceleration but after a second or two there is a solid clunk from the transmission like a manual dropping into gear. Is it most likely the clutch, belt or rollers? On a couple of occasions I have driven through puddles that were deeper than I thought and water entered the transmission casing causing the belt to briefly slip.

Sounds like clutch as first suspect to me, but maybe rollers?

Disclaimer: Just spitballing here.

Probably worth having a look inside either way.
