Modern Vespa

So I put the variator in the Primavera 150 yesterday and took it on a little ride for dinner last night.

I went with the lighter, 9.5 gram, weights based on a few videos and man, it's definitely got more OOMPH! I was going to ride it to work today to really feel it out, but had to bring a big WOK home lol.

We are taking a VERY long ride this Sunday so will keep you posted.

But it is soo much better!! The ONLY thing I did notice though? Not sure if it's me or just putting a different part in the Vespa, but there is a slight 'vibration' that I feel in the floorboards, when I give it light throttle while moving...or basically when I coast, and then just add a bit of gas, I feel....something? Very slight, but it is different than prior.

The install was super easy actually! I watched part of some Australian guy do one and then that "Robot" guy from scooter west for the details. He's a bit funny and...unusual

I did buy the 2 tools suggested for the install as well from them...made it much easier!

Little update:

I put the 13.5 rollers in this morning vs the 9.5 gr that I had in originally. Why? Just seemed a bit "off"? It's much better now and glad I made the change.
