Enjoyed a pleasant ride in the rain before sunrise today.
Then fell into a deep funk when I arrived at my coffee village only to find all the Group W benches had been removed!
"Well, that's put 'paid' to my rain rides to Y. Springs!" (I'll ride in the rain and dark - but I won't sit in the rain and drink coffee. That looks stupid Facepalm emoticon

it rained pretty hard. bouncing off the headlight. OK - so talked to employee in Tom's market - Group W was "temporarily" removed. If not - we'll ask the local celeb to buy that whole side of the street!

Well - the good news is - after stewing about it all morning today I called the office at Tom's. The lady there laughed, she said her phone has been ringing with people asking about the benches! She assured me they will be coming back. Maybe refinished, maybe all new. She wasn't sure. But they will be coming back. She acknowledged that they are too important to the village to remove. She also pointed out that that is why they put the nice awning over that whole area.
She said she is telling people that they are welcome to bring their lawn chairs. I explained that I'm the guy on the scooter out front when they unlock at 7AM. "Haven't figured out how to carry a lawn chair." She offered to store one inside for me!
