Hi all, I'm thinking of buying the wheels from the new Vespa Sprint 150 and fitting them on my GTS 300. I've collected some specs but I'm not 100% sure about compatibility and I'd appreciate any real-world experience (if any) or technical tips.

What I know so far:

Sprint 150 tyre sizes: front 110/70-12, rear 120/70-12.

GTS 300 tyre sizes: front 120/70-12, rear 130/70-12.

Both wheels are 12" diameter, 3" width.

Both use PCD 5x86 bolt pattern.

My main concern is that the Sprint 150 has a rear drum brake, while the GTS 300 uses a rear disc. I'm worried the hub / brake interface will be different and that the Sprint wheel won't accept the GTS rear disc or caliper (or that spacing / offset will be wrong).

I am posting photos of wheels in question.

Anyone?
Thanks

Alright, I get it now.
Do you know what is the difference in these two kits, other than the head shape of the bigger bolts?

One kit uses Piaggio OEM bolts and the other uses SIP branded bolts. One more thing I forgot is the axle adapter or you can have yours machined...

Alright, so that's all I need?
Front wheel is plug&play same as GTS original?
I presume that GTS's wider tires will fit these wheels, as they are also 3" wide?

Yeah, 2 front wheels.

Can source the bolts as a kit from vendor like SIP or from your local Vespa dealer p/n 1C000617 qty 5.

If you go with a kit looks like it includes everything you will need.

If you source from Vespa can reuse existing washers but may want to omit the thick one as it puts the tone ring pretty close to the swingarm. I used it and it clears, just, but from the parts catalog looks like intent is wavy washer only.

Will also need qty 5 5x10mm bolts for the tone ring as factory ones are 6mm. Vespa p/n on these is 842908 or hardware store button heads will work fine.

Will probably need to shim the ABS sensor, 5mm hardware store washers will work here.

Will probably NOT need the adapter, Only needed I think with the MP3 13s and some aftermarket wheels, didn't need it on my wheel swap. Cheap enough to include if you're ordering from SIP anyway, otherwise compare or test fit your wheels to see if it's needed.

Rubber fitment is zero issue as both wheels are 12x3.
