Hi all,

I have been experiencing some issues with my Yourban and I have tried to resolve it with the little knowledge I have about the bike. In another post I mentioned that I tried to replace the ECU but I have some issues with the immobilizer I believe. That is related to this issue but not the same, hence I opened a new topic.

In below video I have recorded the behavior my bike is showing. I was already suspecting this, but now with the live data feed I can finally confirm it. Somehow the first (cold) start is always good, but as soon as I stop the engine and try to start again 9 out of 10 of the times it will not start and not even try to turn the engine over. Complete silence. So now in below video I can see that the first start says Throttle Status: Idle. But after the first start it will say the status is Partially opened. And I also thought maybe its the throttle cable that might be stuck, so I disconnected them and still same issue.

Now my question, is this solvable by reprogramming or is the ECU done for?

f'd.

if it was consistent then recalibration could help but since it is 10-11 for first open/close then after another it goes to 1, that sounds like mechanically f'd tps sensor to me.

I'd take it out and shake it gentle near my ear (hold it rotated a could of different ways around). I've had 3 of the newer miug4 where the tps sensor came loose and you could hear it rattle.

Thanks, I was already afraid of that…

But I will try shaking it gently to see if I hear something rattling.

PS. For the other topic: I am looking to order a cable to read the eeprom for you to have a look whenever you have time for it I was looking at the lonelec cables, are they good enough for the job?

don't know. I haven't read the eeprom for the older ecus that use that cable, have only read the newer g4.

I will contact them to ask about the compatibility.

Do you have other recommendations for cable sets that will work on my model?
