Modern Vespa

Hi All,

I have a lovely Vespa Sei Giorni.

I have made a nice upgrade to look and now I would like to upgrade the Performance and ride:

My main question is:

Is it worth swapping the engine from Quasar to HPE Euro 4 which has better potential for power performance upgrades?

The upgrades I am looking to do this winter:

- 13" wheels
- New brake system (I am looking at Ottopuntouno 4 piston), also considering the bigger from discs.
- BGM or Bitubo suspension

Engine. Still deciding if 282 big bore with V4 head would be enough or should I go and swap the whole engine for newer HPE?

My other option would be:
- Malossi 282 V4 kit
- Piuaggio 300 Super Torque
- Malossi Ventilcat
- CDI Force Master 1
- Malosi Maxi Delta Clutch.

I have the same Sei Giorni and a 2025 GTS 300.
The GTS is completely original.
I've changed a few things on the Sei:
A 9-roller Polini vario (best upgrade), a modified air filter housing, and a Remus exhaust.
Think the old sei is just as fast with the upgrades as the stock GTS

My previous two GTS300s had the Malossi V4 kit and they were a little more powerful than my current '23 HPE. They had much the same acceleration but more power uphill and slightly higher top speed.
