Hello All - So the chill has rolled in here in New York and Friday morning (the first time was was cold) my bike started, but it was a sluggish start.....It revved for a little and I had to give it some gas......but it eventually started. It just took longer than usual. i know that is because of the cold, but it did not happen last winter at all. I ride a 2022 GTS. Would a battery tender be the solution? I remember when I had an ET4 for many years I always had it on one during the cold months.....but this is my 3rd winter with the bike and have never needed it.....well, maybe until now!
Thoughts?

if you suspect battery then maybe start with measuring battery

All of my vehicles are connected to a Battery Tender when not being used. The batteries last 6-8 years under normal circumstances.

obviously an engine is more difficult to start in cold weather for reasons that have to do with: air density, oil viscosity, and battery

If you want your bike to fire up like it's summer, get an electric block heater and an electric battery blanket.
