Did you charge or measure the battery? Please describe what you checked and what the result was.

Disconnect battery for 15 minutes. Does the CEL come back immediately after the next start or after some time?

Do you have the option of reading out the error memory?

It would also be interesting to know the voltage during start-up.

Even a voltage that is too low can be the reason for the CEL. Without further information from you, anything else is just guesswork.

Disconnecting the battery clears the error memory, or at least resets some unimportant error messages. (Note: some errors are reset after a certain number of engine starts, provided the error does not occur again). There are different statements between 5 and 10 engine starts. If the error that leads to the CEL remains in the memory or reappears after the reset, there is no way around reading the error memory.

Post Covid supply chain issues strike again. Hopefully the new one will last as long as they are supposed to.
