I got sent this today.
I think that it was a Honda Deauville because of its V-Twin engine and a shaft drive.
I doubt that the tank is original
Any clues ?

Based on your clues, it's almost certainly a Honda Deauville (NT650 or NT700). You're right, the tank isn't original; it's a custom job to get that Mad Max look. The V-twin engine and shaft drive are the Deauville's biggest giveaways.

The tank looks like a 90 era CBR 600 f2. It was a known mod to put on a Hawk GT 650 (bros 650 on your side of the pond). The Deauvulle is basically a shaft drive steel framed Hawk.
You needed to put a spacer under the back of the tank and use pod filters instead of the stock air box. Why? Iirc, the tank holds another gallon over stock.

It was in storage there. Why? The owner bought it for his girlfriend. He forgot to tell his wife. I got a great deal on a low mileage bike that spent most of it's life in storage.

I got sent this today. Do you know who from? If you do, tell them to send their rubbish somewhere else. Preferably the local scrap metal yard. |

There wasn't anything Italian left in the Car Park so he photographed the next best thing.
