Modern Vespa

hello eveyone im on the hunt for my grandads old 1965 vespa (ss180) i think which he bought new back in the day i know this is a long shot its be untaxed since 1979 the last log book issued was 1981 so it could be lost forever or stored in a garage and forgotten im looking to buy and restore it any help to track it down i would be thankful

Nothing on the UK Mot checker other than its registration date of 16 th Aug 65. This says to me if it still exists its either pushed up against a wall in a garage or part of a collection since its not being used on the road since 1979.

Have you tried one of the UK Vespa Facebook pages, as especially if you have a photograph. Its the way I have located my old bikes ( not Vespas) in the past
