Modern Vespa

I want to run battery tender leads to the glove box on the GTV 300 ie and in order to do so I would like to remove the plastic bottom of the glove box but cannot see how it comes out. there appears some (metal?) prongs that "punch" through the right and left sides of the bottom of the glove box. Any sage wisdom and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The glovebox is one big hunk of plastic under that floor. There are four clips that hold the black bit in, but the only holes are for the clips and the hinges.

The glovebox itself is held on with six Torx screws ( four on the bottom, two in the upper corners behind the "kneepads") and three Phillips screws (one big one in the middle of the glovebox behind the door, and two that come through the front of the legshield, behind the "tie"). There's also a rubber band for the glovebox release hinge that usually perishes and needs to be replaced before reinstalling the glovebox.

I would just drill through with the black liner place. Then use a coat hanger (or other stiff wire) and fish it down to the battery. Then pull it back up with the tender lead.

Be sure to use a large enough drill bit to feed the tender lead through. You could also use a rotary tool to bore a hole there.

I was able to remove the black plastic bottom of the glove box finding just solid painted steel frame. (yes it is held in place one on each side and 2 on the bottom) drilling through that, though doable, is more than I want to engage in especially as there maybe/could be wiring, brake lines etc that I definitely don't want to risk hitting. I have decided to run the tender lead out the rear the battery cover as 25BIKEZ has suggested Thanks for your help

Why try to go out of the bottom of the glove box? Just drill a hole through the back, to open space, and fish wires through from the battery under the floorboard.
