Search on here was inconclusive.

I know the pre-ABS scoots were rev limited and 2019 up HPEs are speed limited, what's the verdict on the last of the Quasars? Suspect it's revs but can't confirm.

The following is from examining the ecu bins for gts 250-310 (my hobby):

All 250/300 pre-hpe are rpm limited regardless of if they have abs.

All 300/310 hpe are rpm limited and also have wheel speed limit.

rpm limit is 9500 on 250/300 inc hpe and 8500 on 310. (early gts125 has rpm limit 10800, not sure on other 125/150)

wheel speed limit is 120kph for hpe pre-keyless and 135kph* for keyless. These are the real speeds, not dashboard speed. Probably same limits in gts 125/150 although probably would never reach it.

* Pedant note: 134 in 310, yes that's weird.

😀

Do you feel you're hitting the limit or want to surpass it or just curious?

Finally have a tach on the on the way, about ready to get serious tuning the CVT. Will be playing with belt length as a variable, shorter belt yields shorter top gear at the CVT which may affect top speed if I'm at the rev limit.

I've been playing around with it already but flying blind, have no idea where I'm at on the power curve. Currently have GT rollers, belt, and a 2nd 1mm washer in there with Malossi white spring. Rollers have a steel slug in the center to bring them up to 13.7 grams.

Smaller diameter rollers and washer drop the belt much lower in the variator, so much so that I had to swap to shorter GT belt, GTS one was slack in the pulley.

Thing's a rocket off the line, but may have lost some top end.
