Modern Vespa

I haven't been keeping up-to-date on the trend of mounting a phone on my bikes, so today I grabbed a beer from the fridge, girded my loins for a major install effort, and after an hour or two of cussing and bandaided knuckles, I now have a phone mounted to my old K1200RS.

The tech isn't exactly cutting edge modern, but considering that the bike was made in the last century (1998), I think it worked out pretty well, wouldn't you agree?

I think you need bigger finger holes for glove use?

I was thinking of using a short dialing stick of some sort, maybe I'll see if Revzilla might have something like that.

Take a stick to your helmet chinbar to enable hands free dialling. It's much safer that way.

should have used a more modern push button version. also you need to have one of those 25 ft hand set curly cords

'Ma Bell' rotary dialers don't need no steeeenking redial buttons.

Wrong thread - but it used to really piss me off if I made a mistake and had to hang up and start dialing all over.

Glad to see examples from bold pioneers.

This is my solution. Fingertips are overrated anyway.

Also would come in handy when excavating deceased (hopefully) flying insect chunks from one's nostrils without having to pull over.
