Replacement striker for Vespa top box

After a break in, the plastic striker for the lock on my top box is snapped.

My dealer has told me that this isn't available as a spare part.

Does anyone know otherwise or would happen to have a spare for salvage?

On one of my top-boxes way back when I just drilled through and put a bolt in. That served very well.

Looks like it should be pretty easy to fab something, maybe out of metal or 3D print.
